We will complete 1½ years of existence by the time we bid goodbye to 2015. We go forth with your support, innovation, and contributions that seem to get better with time. Please accept my best wishes for the upcoming year.

In this last IJVES issue of 2015, we are proud to share with you an important paper from Durban, South Africa, on separating HIV vasculopathy from Kaposi sarcoma by Dr. Pratisdadevi et al. with an editorial review by Dr. Anshul Gupta and Ramesh Tripathi.

Goyal et al. have highlighted the scenario of acute limb ischemia in India that we face in every day practice, and the role of early intervention has been emphasized. An editorial point de vue follows from Himanshu Verma.

Important case reports that showcase our tropical practice include symmetrical peripheral gangrene complicating vivax malaria, internuclear ophthalmoplegia in pontomesencephalic stroke as the first manifestation of Takayasu Arteritis and Nutcracker syndrome in an 8-year-old boy.

I am thankful for the immense contribution of Himanshu Verma and Indrani Sen, my junior editors. They have slogged to produce the journal quality that you all love despite all odds. I am pleased to elevate their position to Associate Editors in the New Year. We have also inducted Ajay Savlania from PGI Chandigarh in our core editorial team, and I really look forward to his contributions.

Hope you enjoy this issue and are inspired to be a part of it in future.
